The Petite Atlas Pendant is a compact sculptural pendant in glass and brass, made to add a precise point of light without crowding the room. It measures 26 cm (10.2″) across and 33 cm (13″) high. It suits a bedside, a corridor or an entrance niche, or a row above a kitchen island, bar or reception counter.

The glass

The Petite Atlas brings glass and brass together in a small, sculptural form. The glass holds and softens the light, and the brass gives it a warm, fine edge. The glass treatment and the metal finish can both be chosen when you order.

Why warm light matters

Glass takes on the colour of the lamp behind it. At 2700K it glows soft and warm against the brass; cooler light makes it look cold and flat. On this piece, warm white is part of the design.

Sizing and placement

At 26 cm (10.2″) across, one pendant suits a bedside, a corridor or a small entrance. Over a kitchen island, bar or reception counter, repeat two to four in a row about 60 to 75 cm (24 to 30″) apart for a more architectural line. Hang the base 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35″) above a table or counter.

Suspension

The suspension length is set to order, longer or shorter to suit your ceiling. Each pendant can hang from its own canopy, or several can be grouped on a shared multi-light canopy on request.

The light

It is an accent light: a single lamp gives a focused, local glow around the pendant. Use it for mood and wayfinding, and pair it with task lighting over an island or counter.

Lamping and installation

One E14 lamp. Warm white LED at 2700K. The pendant is hardwired; have a qualified electrician install it.

Care

Switch off and let the lamp cool. Dust with a soft dry cloth. For a deeper clean, wipe the glass with a damp microfibre cloth and a little mild glass cleaner applied to the cloth, never sprayed onto the fixture. Wipe the brass with a soft dry cloth, with no polish or abrasive products.

Made to order

Every pendant is made to order. Suspension length, glass treatment, metal finish and single or multi-light canopies can be set before production, and dimming is available on request.
