Single Banana Leaf Pendant Light | CLJNB02

The Single Banana Leaf Pendant is a sculpted leaf in hand-finished resin, with the curve and veining of a banana leaf, hung from an arched iron stem in a bronze finish. It comes in three sizes: 38 cm (15″), 55 cm (21.7″) and 95 cm (37.4″). It suits a reading corner, a living room, a space above a console, or a calm room such as a spa or wellness lounge.

The resin

The leaf is shaped in resin and finished by hand, so the ribs and veins have the soft irregularity of a real leaf. Each piece varies a little from the next.

The frame

The leaf hangs from an arched stem of iron in a bronze finish.

Sizing and placement

The 38 cm (15″) suits a reading corner, a bedside or a small console. The 55 cm (21.7″) suits a larger console, a sideboard or a side table in a living room. The 95 cm (37.4″) is for a larger living room, an entrance or a dining table of about 150 cm (59″) and above. Over a table or console, hang the lowest point 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35″) above the surface.

Suspension

The drop is made longer or shorter to order to suit your ceiling height.

The light

The leaf shapes and softens the light, giving a warm, indirect glow rather than a bright downlight. It is an accent and mood light; for reading or work, keep a task light alongside it.

Lamping and installation

E27 lamping. Warm white LED at 2700K. Bulbs are not included. The pendant weighs about 5 to 9 kg (11 to 20 lb) depending on size. The fixture is hardwired.

Care

Switch off and let the lamp cool first. Dust with a soft dry cloth or a soft brush, following the veins of the leaf. Keep abrasive cleaners off the resin and the bronze finish.

Made to order

Every piece is made to order. The drop can be set to your ceiling height, and dimming is available on request.
