Rice Paper Lantern Pendant | CL03215

This pendant is a round rice paper lantern, in seven diameters from 30 cm (11.8") to 100 cm (39.4"), on a 150 cm (59") cable. The paper turns the lamp into an even ambient glow with no visible source.

The paper

Each lantern is made over a ribbed frame, so the paper takes the light differently across its surface and small variations are part of the material.

Choosing a size

The 30 to 50 cm sizes group well at staggered heights over a table or a stairwell; the 60 to 80 cm work alone in a bedroom or living room; the 100 cm is a room-scale piece.

Lamping and installation

E27 lamps (E26 for North America), warm white at 2700K. Hardwired, indoor use.
