Resin Pendant | Seven Colours | CL7885L

The Resin Pendant is a compact wabi-sabi shade cast by hand in resin. It stands 23 cm (9.1″) high and hangs on a 150 cm (59″) adjustable cable. It comes in seven colors: white, gray, brown, black, green, yellow and orange. It hangs on its own or in a group over a dining table, beside a bed, in a hallway, or in a hotel or restaurant.

The resin

Each shade is cast by hand, so the surface carries a soft, organic texture and small variations in tone from one piece to the next. White, gray, brown and black are quiet earth tones; green, yellow and orange bring brighter colour to a plain room. Mixed colours in one group make a relaxed, collected line over a table.

Sizing and placement

At 23 cm (9.1″) high, one shade suits a bedside, a reading chair or a hallway. Over a kitchen island, hang three in a row. Over a dining table, hang three to five in a group. Hang the bottom of each shade 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35″) above the surface.

Suspension

The shade hangs on a 150 cm (59″) cable that adjusts on site, and the cable can be made longer or shorter to order.

The light

The light falls down through the open base as a warm pool, and the shade stays calm around it. It suits a quiet, contemplative room. Over a kitchen island or desk, keep task lighting alongside it.

Lamping and installation

One E27 lamp. Warm white LED at 2700K. Bulbs are not included. The pendant weighs about 1.5 to 2.5 kg (3.3 to 5.5 lb). It is hardwired by your electrician.

Care

Switch off and let the lamp cool. Dust with a soft dry cloth or brush. A lightly damp cloth can be used on the outside; keep solvents and abrasive cleaners away from the resin.

Made to order

Every piece is made to order. The cable length can be set to your ceiling height, and dimming is available on request.
