Modern Brass Disc Pendant Light | CLCZIFT3

The Modern Disc Pendant is a flat metal disc with the bulb hanging open beneath it. It comes in three diameters: Small, 10 cm (3.9″), Medium, 20 cm (7.9″), and Large, 46 cm (18.1″), each 100 cm (39.4″) high overall, and in three finishes: bronze, black and silver. It suits a dining room, a kitchen or a living space, on its own or in a row over an island.

The frame

The disc and fitting are iron, in a bronze, black or silver finish. The form is kept to a single disc and a slim suspension, so the bulb becomes part of the design.

Sizing and placement

The Small, at 10 cm (3.9″), and the Medium, at 20 cm (7.9″), are made to be used in a row: three to five over a kitchen island or a long table. The Large, at 46 cm (18.1″), suits a table for four, about 90 to 120 cm (35 to 47″), or a living room. Over a table or island, hang the bulb 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35″) above the surface.

Suspension

Each size is 100 cm (39.4″) high overall. The drop is made longer or shorter to order to suit your ceiling.

The light

The bulb hangs open below the disc, so the light is clear and even, and the disc throws some of it back down onto the table. A warm filament bulb gives the best effect. Over a kitchen worktop, keep task lighting alongside it.

Lamping and installation

E27 lamp; a warm dimmable LED Edison-style bulb suits it. Warm white at 2700K. The bulb is not included. For indoor use.

Care

Switch off and let the lamp cool. Dust with a soft dry cloth. Do not use metal polish or abrasive cleaners.

Made to order

Every pendant is made to order. The drop can be set to your ceiling, and dimming is available on request.
