The Minimalist Resin Pendant is a shade cast by hand in resin, with organic contours and a softly textured surface. It is 25 cm (9.8″) wide and comes in taupe or gray. It hangs over a dining table or kitchen island, or in a living room or bedroom.

The resin

Each shade is cast by hand, so the texture and contours vary slightly from one piece to the next. The surface catches light along its ridges. Taupe is a warm, earthy neutral; gray is cooler and more mineral. Both sit well in a modern, minimalist room.

Sizing and placement

At 25 cm (9.8″) wide, one shade suits a bedside, a reading chair or a small hallway. Over a kitchen island, hang two to four in a row. Over a dining table, hang three in a line or a group. Hang the bottom of each shade 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35″) above the surface.

Suspension

The drop is set to your ceiling height when you order, and can be made longer or shorter to order.

The light

The light falls down through the open base as a warm pool, while the textured shade gives the fixture its form. Over a kitchen island or desk, keep task lighting alongside it.

Lamping and installation

One E27 lamp. Warm white LED at 2700K. Bulbs are not included. The pendant weighs about 1.5 to 2.5 kg (3.3 to 5.5 lb). It is hardwired by your electrician.

Care

Switch off and let the lamp cool. Dust with a soft dry cloth or brush. A lightly damp cloth can be used on the outside; keep solvents and abrasive cleaners away from the resin.

Made to order

Every piece is made to order. The drop can be set to your ceiling height, and dimming is available on request.
