Linear LED Chandelier | Matte Gold | CL85075L

The Linear LED Chandelier is a set of intersecting aluminum rods in a matte gold finish, each fitted with an integrated LED diffuser. The fixture is 137.2 cm (54″) long and 37.5 cm (14.75″) high, on adjustable cables, with an overall height of 153.7 cm (60.5″) as standard. It is made for a kitchen island, a dining table, a conference table or an open-plan living space.

The aluminum

The rods are aluminum, finished in a soft matte gold with no shine. They cross at different angles, so from the side the fixture reads as a light, open drawing in the air. The canopy is a long, slim bar of 12.1 × 127 cm (4.75 × 50″) that follows the line of the fixture.

Sizing and placement

At 137.2 cm (54″) long, it suits a kitchen island or a dining table of about 200 to 240 cm (79 to 94″). Hang the bottom 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35″) above the surface. Because the rods are slim and open, it keeps sightlines clear across the room.

Suspension

With the standard cables, the overall height from ceiling to lowest point is 153.7 cm (60.5″), which over a table suits a ceiling of about 3 to 3.2 m (10 to 10.5 ft). For standard ceilings the cables are made shorter to order, down to an overall height of 61 cm (24″).

The light

Each rod carries its own LED diffuser, so the light is spread evenly along the whole fixture with no hot spots. It lights the surface below and gives a soft glow around the rods. It can serve as the main light over an island.

Lamping and installation

Integrated LED, warm white at 2700K. It weighs about 9 kg (20 lb). The fixture is hardwired; have your electrician fix the canopy to a joist or reinforced blocking.

Care

Switch off first. Dust the rods and diffusers with a soft dry cloth. Do not use polish, solvents or abrasive cleaners on the matte finish.

Made to order

Every piece is made to order. The cable length is set to your ceiling height, the length can be made to your specification, and dimming is available on request.
