The Nocturne Linear Chandelier | Smoky Art Glass & Brass | CLND008L

The Nocturne Linear is a long statement chandelier: smoky art glass elements layered along an extended brass frame, giving a long silhouette with depth rather than bulk. The tinted glass softens the light and gives it a cinematic, low-lit character.

Sizing and placement

At 150 cm (59") long, it is sized for dining tables of about 200 to 260 cm (79 to 102"), long kitchen islands, boardroom tables and bar counters. Leave at least 30 cm (12") between each end of the fixture and the end of the table. Hang the lowest glass 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35") above the surface.

Why warm light matters

Smoky glass absorbs light, so warm lamps at 2700K keep it glowing amber-grey; cool light makes it look dull. Twelve lamps give it enough output to light a full table on its own.

Lamping

Twelve E14 lamps (E12 for North America).

Installation

At about 14 kg (31 lb) spread along 150 cm, the fixture should be fixed to a rated ceiling box and aligned with the table before the drop is set.

Made to order

Suspension length, glass tone, metal finish and canopy can be specified before production. A sloped ceiling adapter and dimming are available on request. The Nocturne is also available as a round chandelier.
