The Martina Cerchio | Copper & Cast Glass | CLMRT

The Martina Cerchio is a ring of thick cast glass slabs held in a solid copper frame, 38 cm (15") high and offered at 92 cm (36"), 122 cm (48") or 152 cm (60") across. The rippled glass recalls ice or moving water and breaks the light into a textured halo.

The glass

Each slab is cast rather than cut from float glass, so the surface is deep and tactile and no two panels read alike. Machined copper clips hold the glass to the frame.

Choosing a size

The 92 cm suits a round table for six to eight; the 122 cm a larger table or living room; the 152 cm a grand foyer, spiral staircase or double-height room. Over a table, hang the ring 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35") above the surface.

Suspension and lamping

It hangs on a 50 cm (19.7") rod, extendable at order. E14 lamps (E12 for North America), warm white at 2700K.

Made to order

Rod length and finish can be specified before production; the frame comes in copper or black stainless steel. A sloped ceiling adapter and dimming are available on request. Trade clients can request drawings and project quantities through our trade program.
