The Lucia Chandelier | Frosted Glass & Brass | CLND040

The Lucia is an elongated statement chandelier in frosted glass on a brass frame, 102 cm (40") long, made to bring even light along a long dining table or kitchen island.

Frosted glass

Frosted glass hides the lamps completely and spreads their light into a soft, even glow with no glare. That makes the Lucia comfortable to sit beneath, even when it hangs low over a table, and gives a calmer, more diffused light than clear glass.

Sizing and placement

At 102 cm (40") long, 40 cm (15.7") wide and 46 cm (18") high, it suits a dining table of about 180 to 220 cm (71 to 87") or a kitchen island of similar length. Leave around 30 cm (12") between each end of the fixture and the end of the table, and hang the base 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35") above the surface. The 50 cm (19.7") chain can be extended at order for higher ceilings.

Lamping

Twelve E14 lamps (E12 for North America). Because the glass diffuses the light, lamp shape does not show; choose warm white at 2700K for a soft, golden glow.

Sloped ceilings

Every piece is made to order, so a sloped ceiling adapter can be supplied. Mention the angle when you order.
