This floor lamp is hand-sculpted from a single piece of wood into a tapered monolith, 160 cm (63") high on a 25 cm (10") base, with a white linen shade 48 cm (19") wide and 20 cm (8") high.

The wood

Carved from one block, so the grain runs the full height and the form differs slightly between pieces. The taper is what keeps a heavy base looking light.

Where it belongs

Beside a sofa or a reading chair, in a loft or a gallery-like room. The shade width gives it enough spread for task light as well as ambient.

Lamping and installation

E26 lamps (E27 outside North America), warm white at 2700K, bulb not included, with a dimmable socket. 110 to 240V, set for your region.

Made to order

Wood tone and shade fabric can be specified before production. Trade clients can request drawings and project quantities through our trade program.

Height and scale. The Monolith is 160 cm (63 in) high, with a 25.4 cm (10 in) base and a 48.2 cm (19 in) linen shade. It suits beside a sofa or reading chair where the wider shade can light the seating area.

Material. The body is hand-sculpted from solid wood, so grain and form vary slightly. Estimated weight is approximately 8–12 kg.

Light and control. One E26 lamp is specified, configured as E27 outside North America. Warm white 2700K is recommended. Dimming is available on request.

Power and lead time. Voltage is adapted from 110–240V. Dry indoor use only. Production takes 2–3 weeks; transit is 20–25 business days.
