Bakelite Floor Lamp | Ash or Walnut | CLBAK

The Bakelite floor lamp pairs a tapered bakelite body with wood and iron under a fabric shade that throws light both up and down, 48 cm (18.9") wide and 150 cm (59") high, in ash or walnut.

The bakelite

An early moulded material with a deep, slightly uneven surface that modern plastics do not reproduce. Each body is finished by hand, so the tone varies between pieces.

Where it belongs

A foyer, a living room or a reading nook. The up-and-down shade means it works as ambient light and for reading from the same position, which is why it suits a corner with a chair.

Lamping and installation

Warm white at 2700K.
Bulb : 1 x E26/E27

Made to order

Wood tone and shade fabric can be specified before production, and dimming is available on request. Trade clients can request drawings and project quantities through our trade program.

Before you order

Height and scale. The Bakelite floor lamp is 150 cm (59 in) high and 48 cm (18.9 in) wide. Its proportions suit a foyer, living-room corner or reading chair without the long reach of an arc lamp.

Material and weight. The lamp combines bakelite, wood and iron, with Ash or Walnut variants. Hand finishing means tone can vary slightly. Estimated floor-lamp weight is approximately 6–9 kg.

Light and control. One E26/E27 lamp is specified. The fabric shade sends light both upward and downward, giving ambient light while keeping useful illumination near a chair. Default temperature is 2700K Warm White. The standard version is not dimmable; a dimmable version can be produced on request.

Power and lead time. Voltage is adapted from 110–240V for the destination. Dry indoor use only. Production takes approximately 1–3 weeks, followed by about 20–25 business days in transit.
