Etherea Floor Lamp | Dark Double Column | CLVB2552D

The Etherea is built from individually blown glass rods, flame-worked into a dense mesh and encased in a clear polymer skin that protects the structure and diffuses the light through it. This is the double-column version in the dark finish, 173 cm (68.1") high, 79 cm (31.1") wide and 43 cm (16.9") deep.

How it is made

Every rod is worked by hand at the flame and placed individually, so the mesh is different on every piece. A double column at this scale takes weeks of glasswork, which is what puts it at the top of the collection.

What it does to a room

Lit, the glass veins catch the light and throw a shifting pattern of shadow onto the wall behind. Unlit, it reads as a piece of glass sculpture. It suits a double-height living room, a gallery or a collector's interior where it can be seen from several angles.

Light and installation

Warm white at 2700K, diffused through the polymer skin. 110 to 240V, set for your region. Given the glass structure, it ships crated and is best unpacked in position.

Made to order

Finish and scale can be specified before production, and dimming is available on request. It is also made as a single column and in the clear finish. Trade clients can request drawings and project quantities through our trade program.

Material and handling. Flame-worked glass rods are enclosed in a clear polymer skin. Estimated weight is approximately 20–30 kg. It ships crated and is best unpacked close to its final position.

Light. Warm light is diffused through the glass and polymer skin, creating shifting reflections rather than a task beam. The current metafield lists this version as not dimmable.

Lead time. Dry indoor use only. Production takes 2–3 weeks; current transit estimate is 20–25 business days.
