The Black Candelabra Ring Chandelier is a stainless steel ring in a deep charcoal-black finish, carrying a circle of tall candle-style lights. It comes in four sizes: 68 cm (26.8″) with 12 candles, 97 cm (38.2″) with 18, 120 cm (47.2″) with 26 and 155 cm (61″) with 34. The ring profile is 12 cm (4.7″) high, and it hangs on a 50 cm (19.7″) cable as standard. It suits a dining table, an entrance hall or a loft living space.

The steel

The ring and the candle sleeves are stainless steel in a matte-satin charcoal black. The finish is soft rather than glossy, so the ring reads as a strong, simple line against the ceiling. It suits industrial and modern rooms as well as older houses with plain walls.

Why warm light matters

A candle ring is meant to read as candlelight. At 2700K the bulbs glow warm and gold against the black steel. Cooler light breaks the effect. On this piece, warm white is part of the design.

Sizing and placement

The 68 cm (26.8″) size suits a round or square table of about 110 to 140 cm (43 to 55″). The 97 cm (38.2″) suits a table of about 160 to 200 cm (63 to 79″). The 120 cm (47.2″) suits a long table or a large living room. The 155 cm (61″) suits a large dining room, a double-height hall or a loft. Over a table, hang the bottom 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35″) above the surface.

Suspension

With the standard 50 cm (19.7″) cable, the ring hangs about 62 cm (24″) from the ceiling. The cable is made longer or shorter to order; for most dining rooms and all high ceilings, tell us your ceiling height and we set the cable to it.

The light

The candle bulbs sit on top of the ring, so the light goes outward and upward as well as down. It lights the ceiling and the room around the table, with the character of candles. Over a kitchen island, keep task lighting alongside it.

Lamping and installation

E14 candle bulbs, one per candle: 12, 18, 26 or 34 by size. Use warm white LED at 2700K. Bulbs are not included. It weighs about 11 to 15 kg (24 to 33 lb) in the 68 cm size, 16 to 22 kg (35 to 49 lb) in the 97 cm, 23 to 32 kg (51 to 71 lb) in the 120 cm and 33 to 45 kg (73 to 99 lb) in the 155 cm. The fixture is hardwired; have your electrician fix it to a joist or reinforced blocking. For indoor use only.

Care

Switch off and let the bulbs cool. Dust with a soft dry cloth. Keep polish and abrasive cleaners off the matte finish.

Every piece is made to order. The cable length is set to your ceiling height, and dimming is available on request.
