Brass & Fabric Chandelier | 6-Light | CLSFB119BR

A sculptural six-light chandelier: sweeping aged brass arms carry softly curved cream fabric shades across a 119 cm (47") span, while the whole fixture stays only 41 cm (16") deep. It brings mid-century character to a room without the drop of a traditional chandelier.

How it lights a room

Each fabric shade directs and diffuses its lamp, so the light is soft and even with no bare bulbs in view. Six points of light spread across the width make it an ambient light for a whole dining or living room.

Sizing and placement

The 119 cm span suits a dining table of roughly 180 to 240 cm (71 to 94") or the centre of a living room of about 4.5 m (15 ft) or more. Its shallow 41 cm depth works under ceilings from about 2.4 m (8 ft) over a table; hang the shades 75–90 cm (30–36") above the tabletop. In a walkway, keep 2.1 m (7 ft) clear beneath it.

Lamping

Six E14 lamps, 9W maximum each. Warm white LED candle lamps at 2700K suit the cream fabric best and keep the shades cool.

Sloped ceilings

Every piece is made to order, so this chandelier can be supplied with a sloped ceiling adapter to hang true under a pitched ceiling. Mention the angle when you order.
