Textured Glass & Brass Wall Sconce | CLGGP57

This wall sconce sets a column of thick textured glass around a solid brass core, 50 cm (19.7") high and 18 cm (7.1") wide. The cast surface has enough depth to break the light without hiding it, so the piece reads as material first and fixture second.

The glass

Each column is cast rather than pressed, so the texture, thickness and the way the light travels through it vary from piece to piece.

Where it belongs

Its height suits a hallway, a bedroom wall, a living room or either side of a doorway, and it is at its best in pairs at even spacing. Mount the centre about 150 to 160 cm (59 to 63") from the floor.

Lamping and installation

E14 lamps (E12 for North America), warm white at 2700K. It weighs about 2.5 to 3.4 kg (5.5 to 7.5 lb). Hardwired wall mount, indoor use. Also made in black textured glass on stainless steel.
