The LED Tube Semi-Flush is a curved acrylic LED tube that runs close to the ceiling on short rods, with fittings in gold, silver or black. It comes in eight lengths: 60 cm (23.6″), 80 cm (31.5″) and 110 cm (43.3″) on a single rod, and 150 cm (59.1″), 200 cm (78.7″), 250 cm (98.4″), 300 cm (118.1″) and 350 cm (137.8″) on two rods. It is 30 cm (11.8″) high. It suits hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and rooms with standard or low ceilings.

The acrylic

The tube is acrylic, curved into a long, relaxed line. When lit, the whole tube glows evenly from end to end, so it reads as a single line of light across the ceiling. The gold, silver and black fittings let it sit with brass, chrome or dark hardware in the room.

Why warm light matters

A glowing tube shows its colour temperature more plainly than a shaded lamp. At 2700K the acrylic glows warm and soft, and the line of light feels calm. Cooler light makes it look like an office. On this piece, warm white is part of the design. A cool white version is also offered.

Sizing and placement

The 60, 80 and 110 cm (23.6, 31.5 and 43.3″) lengths suit a bedroom, a small hallway or a landing. The 150 and 200 cm (59.1 and 78.7″) lengths suit a living room or a long hallway. The 250, 300 and 350 cm (98.4, 118.1 and 137.8″) lengths suit a long corridor or a large open room, where one continuous line of light can follow the space.

Mounting

The shorter lengths hang from one rod and the longer lengths from two. A rod set of two rods, 30 cm (11.8″) and 20 cm (7.9″), is supplied; they can be used together or separately to set how far the tube sits below the ceiling. The dimmable version is supplied with a single long canopy.

The light

The tube gives a soft, even ambient light along its whole length, with no visible bulbs. It is a good way to light a long hallway evenly. In a living room, pair it with lamps for reading.

Lamping and installation

Integrated LED, warm white at 2700K as standard. The fixture is hardwired.

Care

Switch off first. Dust the tube with a soft dry cloth. Do not use solvents or alcohol-based cleaners on acrylic; a cloth lightly dampened with water is enough for marks.

Made to order

Every piece is made to order. The canopy finish can be adapted where it is technically compatible, and a dimmable warm white version is available.
