Forged Aluminium Wall Sconce | Kyrin | CLKYP36

The Kyrin is a curved plate of forged-texture aluminium meeting a central beam, 40 cm (15.7") wide, 28 cm (11") high and 7.7 cm (3") deep. The irregular surface catches light and shadow across the metal, so the piece has depth switched off as well as on.

The finish

The texture is worked into the metal rather than printed on it, so the play of light across the face differs from piece to piece.

Where it belongs

Its shallow profile keeps it practical for a hallway, a bedroom or a living room, while the width gives it enough presence to hold a wall on its own.
