Crystal Ring Flush Mount | Gold or Chrome | CLFG890

The Crystal Ring Flush Mount is a low-profile ceiling light of cascading crystal rings on a slim metal frame in a gold or silver finish. It comes in three diameters: 40 cm (15.7″), 50 cm (19.7″) and 60 cm (23.6″). It suits a bedroom, a living room, an entryway or any room with a lower ceiling.

The crystal

The rings are crystal, arranged in a cascade below the ceiling. The crystal refracts the light into a soft sparkle across the fixture and onto the ceiling around it.

The frame

The crystal rings sit on a slim metal frame, finished in gold or silver.

Why warm light matters

Crystal carries the colour of the light passing through it. At 2700K the sparkle is warm and soft; cooler light makes it sharp and blue-white. The light also switches to natural and cool white, but on this piece, warm white is part of the design.

Sizing and placement

The 40 cm (15.7″) size suits a bedroom, hallway or small room of up to about 3 × 3 m (10 × 10 ft). The 50 cm (19.7″) suits a bedroom or living room of around 3.5 × 4 m (12 × 13 ft). The 60 cm (23.6″) suits a larger living room or primary bedroom of around 4 × 5 m (13 × 16 ft). It sits tight to the ceiling, so it suits rooms where a hanging fixture would take too much headroom.

Mounting

The frame fixes directly to the ceiling and holds the crystal rings close beneath it.

The light

The light spreads through the crystal in every direction, giving a bright, general light with sparkle across the ceiling. Over a desk or dressing table, keep task lighting alongside it.

Lamping and installation

Integrated LED with three settings: warm, natural and cool white. Warm white is 2700K. The fixture is hardwired.

Care

Switch off and let the fixture cool. Dust the crystal with a soft dry cloth or a feather duster. For a deeper clean, wipe the crystal with a damp microfibre cloth and a little mild glass cleaner applied to the cloth, never sprayed onto the fixture. Keep abrasive products off the frame.

Made to order
