Cantilevered Oak Table Lamp | Linen Shade | CLVMO0281

This table lamp cantilevers a dark-stained oak base out under a linen drum shade 20.3 cm (8") high on a 25.4 cm (10") base. The offset is structural: the weight of the oak holds the shade out over the surface rather than above the base.

The oak

Solid timber, dark-stained by hand, so the grain shows differently on every base.

Where it belongs

A sideboard, a console or a reading corner, where the cantilever puts the light over what you are doing rather than behind it.

Lamping and installation

Warm white at 2700K.
